2011 in the Arthur Amish Country
The new year is upon us and Arthur and the Illinois Amish country is gearing up for another fun and exciting event filled year. Arthur has been known to be a wonderful family destination that has entertained guests from around the world that this year is shaping up to be the same with some wonderful additions.
Arthur is proud to welcome the 1st Saturday Market into town. This market will be taking place the 1st Saturday in April, May, June, August, September, and October. The market will NOT be taking place in July due to the Moultrie-Douglas County Fair taking place during that time. This show will feature crafts, antique, and flea market merchants with a wide array of items offered.
Arthur will also have all of their other great festivals including the Arthur Amish Country Cheese Festival, Arthur Strawberry Jam, CIBR-BBQ State Championship, Chet Kingery Memorial Bluegrass Festival, 3rd Saturday Market, Amish Country Quilt Show, and much much more.
