Arthur Leaf Burning

Here's a topic that should draw comments.
What do you think Arthur should do on this issue? Almost everyone will agree that the burning is a nuisance at best and a serious health hazard to some, but what to do about the leaves?
Just ban the burning and let everyone fend for themselves?
Provide for free pickup and disposal at the village expense?
Limit the burning to certain days and tell the sufferers to get out of town on those days?
Or some combination?
Each option has its benefits, and drawbacks or costs. But something has to be done and probably will be this year. Add your opinions and ideas. Those that will ultimately make the decision need the input.

Leaf Burning 2010
This issue is still on the minds of Arthur leaders in 2010 and will again be considered this year. With shrinking budgets dont expect the village to be able to pick up the tab. Look for a tabeling again, or possibly a simple mandate to cease burning.
