A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Arthur, IL, was held on Monday, March 29, 2010. Village President Ron Kingery called the meeting to order at 6:00pm. Roll call was answered by Trustees Terry Clark, Karen Good, Matt Bernius, and Iris Dicks. Trustees Mike McWilliams and Darrell Duzan were absent.

M. Bernius made the motion to enter into an Executive Session. I. Dicks seconded. The reason for the Executive Session was discussion and action regarding waste water plant operator position. (Illinois Statutes,5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body. All present voted YEA.

The regular session resumed. Village President Ron Kingery and Trustees T. Clark, K. Good. M. Bernius. and I. Dicks were present.
M. Bernius made a motion to hire Brandon Potthast as the Waste Water Treatment Operator effective April 19, 2010, at a rate of $ 15.62 per hour. K. Good seconded. All Trustees voted YEA.

President Kingery adjourned the meeting at 6:11pm.
